Best Hair Straighteners and Flat Irons of 2007

CurlytoStraight.com announces the winners of the very best 2007 hair straighteners.

The criteria that was used to determine this "Best Of" list are; reliability, user reviews, customer support and product features. This review doesn't go over each of the classes of hair straighteners or flat irons on the market. Only high quality products were examined and cost was not taken into account.

The following reviews are based only on product quality, features and the feed back of consumers. This will not consider cost.

1) The FHI Runway Series - This brand of straightener is easily the best out there. These hair straighteners offer every cutting edge feature; 450F max temp, revolutionary heating plates, adjustable heat, damp-or-dry styling, lightening fast heat time and the most consistent plate heating of any product out there. Runway models also have the best customer feed back of all the products reviewed. If you want the very best straightener available this is definitely it, and it is going to cost you. These Irons usually about $400.

Are the FHI Runway models really worth it? If you can afford it, absolutely.

2) The FHI Platform Series - As leaders in the evolution of ceramic plating and tourmaline integration, The Platform series offers consumers a top-notch straightener at a more affordable price. Available for purchase in several sizes, the FHI Platform series features 450F max heat, ultra flash heat times, adjustable temperature and PTFC ceramic heat plates. While this series is less pricey than the Runway series, they're still expensive at about $150 - $200.

3) CHI Pink Series - The trendy pink hair straightener offers consumers the best reliability and performance of any hair straightener in the Farouk CHI line of products. Flash heat times, temperature control, and ceramic plates combined with a comfortably and ergonomically designed handle make the CHI ceramic flat iron a great option for anyone who wants the most out of their hair.

4) T3 Wet-or-Dry - In actuality, this straightener has a rank above the CHI Pink series in product features, but it dropped to fourth place due to the fact that customers have had trouble with warranty returns. Other than that, the T3 Wet-or-Dry provides a well-made ceramic design.

5) CHI Turbo Series - The CHI Turbo series takes fifth place in our 2007 hair straightener review. This line of straighteners is used by more hair styling professionals than any other model. And although its maximum temperature and flash heating do not match the CHI Pink, this is a perfect option for those who want premium performance and reliability.

Honorable Mention

While our review of straighteners features the best of the bunch, there are many other first rate, professionally designed flat irons and straighteners on the market. The following are a few:

GHD Hair Straighteners - An attractive product with a polished and sleek design merging numerous cutting edge features makes the GHD straighteners a very attractive option.

HAI Hair Straightener|Flat Iron - HAI has two wonderful offerings at affordable prices; the Convertible and the Nu Stik.

FHI Flat Iron|Hair Straightener - The FHI Technique series features best in Class products for the conventional models. The FHI hair straightener is an excellent product with several of the technologies of the new millennium.

*One of the more well known and popular models on the market, the sedu hair straighteners, was not reviewed because of the exclusive, anti-competitive internet distribution agreement and what seems to be misleading sales practices.
